And So It Begins!
Well the day arrived overcast threatening rain. What day you ask? Moving day finally arrived and we were not ready for the sheer volume of the stuff we had in this little store. I don’t think the moving crew was ready either. Our partners in this move were 3-Men Movers with Juan Garcia as the crew chief. They arrived at 8:00 AM and finished at 7:00 PM. We had a full truck plus a second trip filling about a third of the truck again. Command Central is Off-Line and heading Into the Truck
Desks had to be disassembled, wires put in boxes and lights removed. Dave arrived and worked hard at keeping everyone on task while Eric, Ann, Coad and Dave finished packing things up. The Flag is Gone and So Our New Home Awaits!
It was a little sad seeing everything move out of our home for the past 23 years. We have trained a lot of divers here and met some wonderful people over all of those years. But it is also exciting to move to a new place and to take our family of divers with us. The new facility will be very special — once we get things unpacked…
