

Wade will be the first to tell you he had too many hobbies when he walked through the doors at Oceanic Ventures. Since then some of his toys have fallen into disuse and others have been adapted to fit his diving habit. He is an avid hunter who took his love of the outdoors underwater. He is an expert spear fisherman and angler.
In addition to being a rebreather diver and one of our Technical Dive Supervisors, he is also one of our Scuba Ranger Leaders. The Scuba Ranger program is for 8-12 year olds and Wade is a natural with the children. His wife, Teena, will tell you that it is because he is still a big kid.

Wade is a gourmet Cajun chef making some of the best crawfish you will ever eat. He also brews homemade beer, makes venison sausage, and smokes fish and oysters that are to die for.
Wade is a native Texan but grew up all over the world, being a Navy Brat. His family finally ended up where they started, in Cuero Texas, near Victoria. He received his degree in Accounting from the University of Houston. Wade soon found Public Accounting was not where he wanted to be so he joined the staff of BFI as a District Controller and later moved to his current position as an IT professional with Waste Management

His diving travels have taken him all over the Caribbean, a number of local diving spots throughout Texas and to Micronesia. His favorite dive location is wherever he is diving at the moment.
