Dive Mom is turning 29 in April so, the staff at Oceanic Ventures decided that Dive Mom needs something special for her birthday this year so we are throwing her a party at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnett Texas. So, what a better way to celebrate than with a
Diving, Diving, Camping and Outdoor Fun Party!
If you are not familiar with the venue, Reveille Peak Ranch is a 1,300-acre outdoor event, adventure and education center in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, less than an hour from Austin. It has clear water for diving and some of the best mountain bike/running trails in Texas, a beautiful lake for kayaking and an exciting outdoor recreation pavilion along with camping.
We will be camping but there are some motels in the area if you don’t want to camp. Eric will be preparing a breakfast of egg tacos, coffee, tea and bagels on Saturday and Sunday and Alex will be cooking a hotdog and burger lunch on Saturday. Steve will be in charge of the diving on both Saturday and Sunday. We will also have some activities for the kids on Saturday. On Saturday evening, we are having a pot luck dinner complete with a fire, marshmallows and a grill for your burgers, chicken, steaks, tofu or whatever you feel like bringing. Here is a tentative schedule to give you an idea of what we have planned.
