Integrated Training
The Philosophy
When you enrolled in this program, you had a goal in mind. It may be to simply further your education or perhaps it is to dive deeper and stay longer. Whatever your reasons for enrolling in this program, you are here to gain knowledge, learn some skills that will help you in the future, acquire the right equipment for the dives you are planning to do and go diving to gain experience with your newly learned skills and knowledge. Your instructor is here to help you reach your diving goals.
However, we believe that it does you a disservice to only teach you to be a diver, whether it is a recreational or a technical diver but rather it is our goal to help you become a diver. Someone who enjoys diving and wants to go diving and talk about diving. We want you to discover that passion!
Our program is designed to help you reach your goals using a complete approach to training. We believe that in order to become a diver you need a balanced amount of knowledge, skills and experience along with the right equipment tools for the dive.
Classroom Training
This is the beginning of your journey. The classroom sessions are designed to give you the basic knowledge you need to reach your goals. We combine materials with instruction from divers who actually do this type of diving outside of training. It is our hope that you will learn from their mistakes and victories and, to gain a valuable insight into diving at this level.
Confined Water
The basic diving and survival skills begin in the confined water. We have incorporated various diving and aquatic skills to help you learn to be a better diving and to excel in your diving. We will also help you refine your equipment configuration and buoyancy to help make your dives more enjoyable and successful.
Open Water Sessions
The open water sessions give you the opportunity to put it all together and to gain some experience under the watchful eyes of your instructor. Your instructor will create some learning situations that will help you learn to apply what you have learned in the classroom and confined water in order to continue your learning experiences. These experiences are the foundation to your growing confidence as a diver.
