St. Patrick’s Day was always special in Eric’s house growing up. But that is the way it has always been. His Grandfather, Francis McNamara, kept a bottle of Irish Whisky in his office on St Patrick’s day. One year, his Grandmother, Catherine, even went so far as to dye it green; imagine the amount of food colouring required to die a brown liquid green. The funny thing was, you could tell immediately who had been in Frank’s office — their tongues and teeth were green!
Over the years, Eric has resurected this tradition and keeps a bottle of Irish Whisky handy for the occassion. But not wanting to exclude anyone, he added Irish Coffee and a virgin Irish coffee to the offerings.
Eric’s favorite holiday of the year is St Patrick’s Day and the staff at Oceanic Ventures would love for you to join him for a wee drop of the Uisce beatha, Irish for Whisky which translates literally to “water of life”. Of course, you can always opt for coffee or anther beverage too.
One thing to remember — don’t forget to wear green.
