On Valentine’s Day How About Remembering Your Dive Buddy?
One of the cool things about diving is meeting new people and sharing a common passion with them. I a sure you have had some memorible dive buddies over the years. How about taking a moment and sharing some stories about your favorite dive buddies. Tell us about where you met them and where you have been diving. Maybe you have a special Dive Buddy or two that you submerge with on a regular basis or maybe you like finding new ones on every trip.

My Dive Buddy — Ann. While we like to say we met underwater that is not entirely true. I was teaching a class and Ann came in to try out some new equipment in the pool. If you have been diving with Ann, you know she likes to dive upside down at times and while trying on her equipment she just started floating upside down. I found my students watching her more than they were paying attention to me. Later, we were actually introduced by a friend after I asked to meet the person who was disrupting my class. That was over thirty years ago and a lot of time underwater since. But some things never change — she can still disrupt my class.
